Did you know that our café looks into our Roastery? Each week day you can enjoy a professionally made coffee while watching how we freshly roast all our coffees. If you come early in the morning, we are most likely roasting our Certified Organic Coffees. We tend to do our beans for our blends next – roasting each bean origin separately of course to ensure that the full flavours of each bean are roasted to their specific profile. Then you may notice Shane or Brendan blending beans – this would to make up our Connoisseur, European, Costa Rican or Indian Blends. Later in the day, we tend to roast our single origins. Even if you don’t have time to stop in for a coffee or tea, you may smell our roasting from Main Street, Newport Tipperary – and that beautiful aroma might draw you in!
Awards
Since 2009, we have won over 17 Great Taste Awards for our coffees. The Great Taste Awards is the acknowledged benchmark for specialty food and drink. It has been described as the ‘Oscars’ of the food world and the Epicurean equivalent to the Booker prize.
